MY CAREER AT Z CHANNEL

Z Channel logo

Z Channel was a pay television channel that operated in Los Angeles and showcased motion pictures. It featured contemporary blockbusters, international cinema and American classics.

We pioneered Director's Cuts, letterbox versions and other features that were "discovered" years later by  DVD suppliers.

Z Channel's amazing breadth of programming -- rare films and provocative festivals, supplemented with Z Channel Magazine -- has never been duplicated on television

I was fortunate to start my television career assisting Jerry Harvey, the legendary programming director of Z Channel.

By the end of my tenure at Z Channel, I had become Vice President of Programming.
